Odemwingie Still Part Of West Brom Plans

Steve Clarke ,West Brom's Mananger ,has revealed that Peter Odemwingie could yet have a long-term future at West Bromwich Albion. It had been assumed that the controversial Nigerian forward would leave in the summer, especially as his flurry of characteristic outspoken tweets earlier in the year had included the declaration that he would be off at the end of the season.

Maradona Does Have Any Interest In Montpellier

Diego Maradona is "absolutely not interested in coaching a Ligue 1 club", according to the Dubai Sport Council for whom the Argentine legend is a global ambassador.

Maradona has been heavily linked in the French media with the coaching role at Montpellier, which will be vacated by Rene Girard when his contract expires in June. The Ligue 1 champions' president, Louis Nicollin, has publicly declared his interest in appointing the former Argentina boss, who has been out of work since being relieved of his coaching duties at Al Wasl in the United Arab Emirates last July.
However, the Dubai Sport Council, whose president Swaidan Al Naboodah also holds the same function at Al Wasl, claim Maradona is not free to do as he pleases.

On-loan Pescara goalkeeper Mattia Perin's agent claims Arsenal are among the top sides chasing him but says he is likely to be at parent club Genoa next season.

Perin is spending the season on loan at Pescara, who were promoted to Serie A last term, and has made the No.1 spot his own, with his performances thought to have drawn the attention of several European heavyweights
The 20-year-old's agent, Matteo Roggi, claims the Gunners are keen on the keeper amid speculation they could bring in cover for Wojciech Szczesny in the summer.
Roggi has also claimed interest from the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan but says the youngster will spend at least next season at Genoa after agreeing a new deal to keep him there until 2017.
The agent also claims any club wanting to prise Perin away from Genoa would have to meet his €20million (£17.4m) price tag.
Roggi told tuttomercatoweb.com of the keeper, capped once for Italy: "There are many clubs interested in him: Arsenal, Barcelona, AC Milan. It has also been said about Juventus, Napoli and Roma.
"Currently, however, there is only one certainty about Mattia's future: he will return to Genoa at the end of his loan and there is a mutual intention for him to spend at least one season in a Genoa shirt.
"Just a month ago we extended his contract until 2017 and Mattia's cost is at least €20 million.
"I am 99 per cent sure he will be Genoa's goalkeeper next season."

Santi Cazorla is happy with how the first seven months of his Arsenal career have gone.

The Spanish international midfielder joined the Gunners from Malaga last summer, and he has enjoyed an excellent maiden campaign in England.
"I think I've had a positive seven months personally as I have been able to come to a team like Arsenal and play in a great league like the Premier League," Cazorla told www.arsenal.com.
"It is a bit different to La Liga in Spain but I've adapted very well and I think Arsenal's style of play has made it a lot easier for me."
He admits that things have not gone completely to plan when it comes to Arsenal's results this term.
Cazorla feels that, at 28, he had to make the move in the summer, saying: "That was the leap I wanted to make.
"I wanted to go to a big club and an historic club like Arsenal. I'm happy here. The club's influence is enormous and it's incredible that it has so many fans around the world because that means it really is a massive club.
"Generally, I'm happy with everything here because the club treats its players so well."

Mancini Says No To Rooney Deal

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has played down his chances of luring Wayne Rooney away from rivals Manchester United.

Rooney's omission from United's starting line-up in the defeat by Real Madrid stirred up frenzied speculation about the striker's future, but Ferguson has insisted he will remain at Old Trafford next season.
City were linked in the past with Rooney during his contract stand-off in 2010 and Mancini was asked whether he would test United's desire to keep the England international.
But the Italian does not think he has a realistic chance of securing a deal.
"I think that Rooney is one of the best strikers in Europe but I think it is difficult he can leave Man Utd - I don't think (so)," he said.
Mancini insists such minor fall outs are commonplace in football and expects Rooney to quickly put his disappointment behind him.
The Italian said: "I don't know. I don't know this situation.
"I can understand maybe Rooney would be upset if he didn't play but these are things that can happen in every team. After one week it is finished."

Luis Suarez has been rewarded with a pay rise that will see him earning in excess of £100,000-a-week at Liverpool, according to several newspapers reports.Suarez, 26, agreed a new long-term contract with Liverpool last summer, with reports suggesting the deal doubled his previous wages from £40,000-a-week to £80,000-a-week.And that income has increased further, reports the Times and Telegraph among others, as the Uruguay international has benefited from incentive-based terms in his deal - as part of an initiative by owners Fenway Sports Group.
It is claimed the striker, who has scored 21 goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season, will earn more than £100,000-a-week in light of his excellent form for the Reds.
Suarez signed at Anfield from Ajax for £22 million in January 2011 and has recently been linked with a switch away from the club, amid reported interest from a number of sides.
But Liverpool will hope the reported pay rise will reinforce the forward's commitment on Merseyside.
I think he deserves it and will win highest goal scorer of  the premier league.Do you think so
