Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri, has revealed that Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke sold him because he wanted the money.Arsene Wenger has always insisted that he did not have plans to sell Nasri, but even after his compatriot started the season against Liverpool, he was sold for £24m in August 2011.Although he had one year left on his contract, Nasri said Wenger had assured him he would keep him, but Kroenke decided against it.“Wenger told me that if Cesc (Fabregas) left, I would stay but Kroenke wanted the money,” Nasri told French TV channel beIN Sport. “Cesc was already gone, I had only one year left so I decided to leave.
